Fairfield City Council 2018 Photography Competition

2018 Photography Competition

#CaptureFairfield

The three theme areas for photo entries are in line with this year’s Local Government Week theme of the Power of Community.

Theme 1: The Power of Community Conservation

Photographs must relate to the natural environment of Fairfield City. This includes natural landscapes and waterscapes, flora and fauna, as well as conservation projects supported by the community.

Theme 2: The Power of Community Celebration

Photographs must reflect Fairfield City, its meeting places, celebrations and diverse communities. This includes local life, people and places, as well as events held in Fairfield City.

Theme 3: The Power of Community Commitment

Photographs must reflect the great work of our community volunteers and community service workers in Fairfield City. This includes examples of teamwork, generosity and giving.

You can submit up to three photographs for each theme, a total of nine. More information, including guidelines, Terms & Conditions, and the entry form, are available online at www.fairfieldcity.nsw.gov.au/capturefairfield

Remember, although your photos must have been taken in Fairfield City, they can be either photos you’ve taken before or photos you’re inspired to take to submit into the competition.

There are cash prizes for school aged, amateur and professional photographers. Winners will be announced on 24 July. Winning entries will be part of a Local Government Week Exhibition in a number of locations in late July.

Entries can be submitted on Council’s website until Sunday 1 July.
