Australia’s embattled farmers have a reason to celebrate with exports going through the roof due to the recent free trade agreements. Beef exports in 2015 increased by 31% compared with the same period last year. Fresh horticulture exports to Japan have gone up by almost 15%. For example, table grape exports went from $0 in 2014 to $10.5 million in 2015. Almond exports grew by over 360%…mango exports have doubled. Bulk wine exports have increased 500%. Exports of prawns have doubled in volume to over $3.6 million.
