Cumberland Business Chamber met with representatives from Fraser Property (formerly known as Australand) to be briefed on the newest large-scale building project in the area: the Horsley Drive Business Park. The 21 hectare estate is purpose built with facilities from 5,000 to 50,000 square metres and above. It can accommodate 8 large logistics centres and features B-double approved entry roads and large loading areas. A lot of focus has been placed on the sustainability of this estate. As such, it features 4 star certified buildings and offices with air cooled inverter air conditioning which draws less power. Rain water is harvested, storm water is treated, highly energy efficiency lighting is provided, and power use is monitored.
